Are you experiencing this?
A constant sense of dread or worry that something bad is about to happen
Feeling overwhelmed by everyday decisions or situations that didn't used to bother you
Difficulty sleeping, or waking up already feeling exhausted and anxious
Losing interest in things you used to enjoy, or feeling numb and disconnected
Irritability, restlessness, or a short fuse that doesn't feel like you
Negative thoughts on repeat — self-doubt, self-criticism, or feeling like a burden
Avoiding people, places, or situations because they feel like too much
Physical symptoms like chest tightness, racing heart, nausea, or difficulty breathing
Feeling like you're falling behind or barely holding it together
If any of this resonates with you, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
You don't have to come to therapy with the perfect words or a clear explanation of what's wrong. Anxiety and depression can make it hard to even know where to start — and that's okay. We'll take things one step at a time, at a pace that feels right for you.
We'll start by understanding what you've been going through — what the anxiety or depression feels like for you, and what you're hoping to change
Together, we'll identify the thought patterns, habits, and emotional cycles that may be keeping you stuck
You'll learn practical, evidence-based tools to manage anxious thoughts, lift the weight of depression, and feel more like yourself again
Sessions are collaborative, warm, and tailored to you — not a rigid formula or one-size-fits-all approach

Who Will I be Working With?
Meet Elizabeth
Elizabeth Gross is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Mequon, WI, offering individual therapy for anxiety and depression. She is currently accepting new adult clients (18+) and couples.
Elizabeth's approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. She draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and skills-based Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — both of which are well-supported approaches for treating anxiety and depression. Sessions focus on understanding the thought patterns and emotional cycles that keep you stuck, and building practical skills you can use in everyday life.
She works to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can be honest about what you're going through — the hard days, the setbacks, and the small wins. Therapy isn't about having it all figured out. It's about having someone in your corner while you work through it.
Scheduling can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to have everything figured out before starting. A free consultation is a chance to ask questions, explore whether therapy feels like a good fit, and decide what feels right for you.
